01 / The short version

AshVid is built as a local-first desktop tool. We collect only the limited information needed to operate accounts, licenses, subscriptions, product security, support, and service reliability.

Files selected in AshVid are processed by the installed desktop app and saved to the folder you choose. AshVid does not host, resell, publish, or claim ownership of user files.

02 / Information we process

Depending on how you use AshVid, we may process:

• Account identifiers, such as email address and sign-in status
• License, trial, subscription, and activation status
• Device, operating system, and app version information used for setup, compatibility, security, and support
• Payment confirmation metadata received from payment providers, such as plan, status, date, transaction reference, and subscription period
• Support messages and information you choose to send when asking for help
• Basic operational records needed to prevent abuse, diagnose service issues, and maintain account integrity

03 / Local file workflow

AshVid's desktop workflow is designed to keep file handling on your device. When you choose to process a file or media item, the installed app manages that workflow locally and stores the result in your selected folder.

AshVid does not provide a public hosting service for user files, does not upload your library to AshVid servers, and does not sell access to your files.

04 / Browser companion

The AshVid browser companion helps the desktop app recognize the page where you choose to use AshVid, display the companion control, and pass selected page or source information to the local app.

Because authorized files and media may appear across many lawful websites, accounts, cloud pages, and embedded views, the browser may request broad site access. AshVid uses that access for the companion workflow, not for advertising profiles or resale of browsing history.

05 / Payments and license checks

Payments are handled by third-party payment providers. AshVid does not store full card numbers, wallet credentials, or private payment secrets. We receive only the information needed to confirm payment status, activate access, handle support, and maintain billing records.

06 / Website data

The AshVid website may receive normal server request information, such as browser type, approximate region, page requested, and timestamps, through our hosting provider. We do not use this website to build advertising profiles.

07 / Sharing and service providers

We may share limited operational information with service providers that help us run AshVid, including hosting, database, payment, email, security, and support providers. These providers are used to operate the product and are not allowed to use AshVid customer information for their own advertising.

08 / Retention and user requests

We keep account, license, payment, and support records only as long as needed for service operation, security, legal compliance, accounting, dispute handling, and legitimate business needs. You may contact us to request help with account access, correction, or deletion where available under applicable law.

09 / User responsibility

You are responsible for using AshVid only where you have the right to do so. Third-party websites and content services may have their own rules, privacy policies, and access conditions.
